About ClipSniper
ClipSniper cuts a clip from any Twitch VOD, exactly where you want it, and lets you trim, split and mute it before downloading. It is free, needs no account, adds no watermark, and there is nothing to install.
What it does
You paste a link to a Twitch VOD, mark a start and an end, and get that part of the video as an MP4 in the VOD's own quality, up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. Before downloading you can tighten the cut by dragging, split the clip into several parts and drop the ones you do not want, and lower or silence the sound in any section, which is how you keep a clip from being flagged for the music playing behind it.
Cuts land on the exact frame you chose. Most tools that cut video without re-encoding it can only cut every couple of seconds, at the points the file allows; ClipSniper re-encodes just the fraction of a second around each cut and copies the rest, so the cut is exact and the clip is ready in seconds rather than minutes.
A clip can be up to 30 minutes long. Twitch's own clip button stops at 60 seconds, which is the reason this exists.
What it does not do
- It does not download whole VODs. It cuts the part you mark, up to 30 minutes.
- It does not keep your clips. They are deleted from our server within minutes, and nobody looks at them.
- It does not need an account, set cookies, or show ads.
- It is not affiliated with Twitch. Twitch is a trademark of its owner, used here only to say what the tool works with.
Who makes it
An independent developer in the European Union, as a personal project. The server that prepares clips is in Germany. There is no company behind it yet, and it runs on a small budget; if it is useful to you, there is a coffee link after each clip.
